Stations of the Cross at St. Gerard's, Lima

April 7, 2023Each Friday during Lent, St. Gerard Parish in Lima, OH hosted the Stations of the Cross under the theme, “Walking the Way of the Cross with Christ and each Other.”
Br. Dan Hall presided using the St. Alphonsus version and shared a reflection the first week.
Fr. Mike Sergi used “Everyone’s Way of the Cross” as presider and Sr. Leanne Kershner shared a reflection during the second week. In the third week, Fr. Paul Kuzhimannil presided with the Good Shepherd Way of the Cross, and Pat Murray gave the reflection. Br. Dan presided using the Family Way of the Cross, and Rev. Wanda Werking from Southside Community Church gave the reflection, during the fourth week.
Fr. David Ross, pastor of St. John/St. Rose, was the presider and speaker using St. John Paul II’s Way of the Cross during the fifth week. Fr. Mike Sergi, pastor, presided and spoke during the sixth week, when the Youth Group performing the Stations of the Cross. Light refreshments were served after the services on each of these Friday evenings.
